Ginger Turmeric Latte

The perfect latte to warm up on a cold day! The combination of ginger and turmeric makes for a delicious latte with a kick. Both turmeric and ginger contain antioxidants which can help reduce oxidative stress that may be caused by exposure to chemicals in our environment and stress.

Turmeric and coconut milk pair well together in this recipe and makes for a creamy latte. Try this latte as an afternoon treat.

Sip slowly for maximum enjoyment.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/2 cup canned organic coconut milk

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp minced fresh ginger (or 1/4 tsp ground ginger)

  • A small pinch of black pepper

  • 1 tsp honey to sweeten (optional)


  1. Add all the ingredients to a small pot, except the honey. Whisk the ingredients together and heat on low-medium until desired temperature.

  2. Stir in the honey and 1/8 tsp vanilla extract (optional). 

For a creamier latte, use 1 cup of canned coconut milk and leave out the water.
